Terms of Service

Last updated: January 15, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CustomsLogIQ (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including customs brokers, importers, freight forwarders, and enterprise clients.

2. Service Description

CustomsLogIQ is an AI-powered customs classification research tool. The Service provides draft HS code classifications, duty estimates, compliance screening, and document intelligence. All outputs are research aids — the final classification decision and legal responsibility remain with the user.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for verifying all classifications, duty calculations, and compliance information before filing with any customs authority. You agree to provide accurate product descriptions and not to misuse the Service for fraudulent or illegal purposes. Licensed customs brokers remain bound by their professional obligations.

4. Credits & Billing

Classifications are charged in credits. Credit costs vary by complexity (1–6 credits for text, 3–7 for vision). Credits are non-refundable but never expire. Volume discounts are applied automatically and are lifetime — once you reach a tier, you keep that rate. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days’ notice.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all data you submit. CustomsLogIQ retains ownership of the platform, AI models, and proprietary algorithms. Classification outputs are provided for your use but may not be resold or redistributed as a competing service.

6. Limitation of Liability

CustomsLogIQ is a research tool, not a licensed customs broker. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any classification, duty calculation, or compliance screening. We are not liable for penalties, delays, or losses arising from reliance on the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount of credits purchased in the preceding 12 months.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
